When a friend of ours is about to celebrate a big event in life, we want to make sure we are there for them through the process. Sometimes, we may even want to go above and beyond to make sure that the occasion is memorable. That was what was happening in this clip from the Vicar of Dibley.
The Vicar was about to celebrate her 10th anniversary in Dibley and the committee wanted to celebrate it in style. Even Jim got involved and contacted the pope to see if he could have the vicar made into a saint. The only problem is, they are not Catholic, they are The Church of England.
In the end, Jim understands his mistake and he even says that you learn something new every day. Although the vicar may not be made into a saint, we do get a good laugh out of this scene.
