Over the years, Dawn French has certainly made us smile on the Vicar of Dibley. It doesn’t matter what she is doing, it seems as if it is going to turn out brilliant. We’ve seen her in funny scenes and serious scenes but we might never see her in a funnier scene than this one. It’s just what you need to put a smile on your face.
In this clip, it seems that a move might just be in order. Dawn is certainly not for it and she even gives an impassioned plea to stay. That doesn’t mean that everyone is in agreement with her and it seems as if her words have fallen on deaf ears. It was then that Jim, David, Owen and Frank do something that nobody was expecting.
They are so elated over the move and what it might bring to the table that they break out in song. In fact, they put on such a performance that we can hardly believe they aren’t singers rather than actors.
