They often say that time flies, but until you look back at what has taken place and how long ago it took place, the reality of it doesn’t quite sink in. As an example, it has been over 20 years since the Vicar of Dibley was first seen on the telly. We got our first taste of it through a trailer that introduced us to the show, and it appeared on 30th October, 1994.
When you watch the trailer, you will see some of the scenes from the first episode that you may have forgotten. They are just as funny today as they ever were, and they include the Vicar being introduced to Alice Tinker hello with the rest of the staff. It is like taking a walk down memory lane, and one that makes us nostalgic for the show that we loved so much.
The Vicar of Dibley is no longer showing on the air, it certainly is still in our minds and in our hearts. Fortunately, we have the opportunity to look back at the show in many ways, including through videos, such as this one.
