The Vicar Wants To Have Petitions Signed But Jim’s Idea Doesn’t Seem To Work

When we want to protest something and see some positive change, there are many ways to do so. Some of us will do something drastic or perhaps we may write a letter to show our dissatisfaction. At other times, however, we might consider having a petition signed and it is a great way to have the voices of many people heard.

In Dibley, they are facing a serious crisis. They are about to lose their homes but they aren’t about to go quietly. They start to organise the signing of a petition, but things don’t go as well as they could. That is especially true when Jim gets involved, because he just doesn’t seem to understand how to do a petition properly.

In anything that we do, it is important to follow the rules. When we do, we can make things happen but when we don’t it just ends up in disaster.
