You never quite know what you’re going to turn up when you are out looking for something unusual, and at times, a real gem may be found. That is why many of us love garage sales and auctions, because we had the opportunity to find something that may have been lost for years. As they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and somebody certainly found a treasure in this video clip.
A man had been booked by the local Labour Party to show a film at a local venue, but the projector broke down that evening and he was told to toss the projector and film into the bin. When somebody found it 30 years later, however, they discovered that it had lost footage from Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders that nobody had ever seen before.
It is amazing to think that there may still be some gems out there that have yet to be uncovered. This brilliant clip helps to bring the team back to life and it is something that we can appreciate, especially since it was hidden for so many years.
