The Vicar Tries To Resign But She Runs Into A Problem

Although we try to do the best that we can in life, there are going to be times when we have regrets. That is why many of us can relate to the old Frank Sinatra song that states “regrets, I’ve got a few.” Of course, when we do have regrets, we try to take the time to make them right to the best that we possibly can. It doesn’t always work out that way.

The vicar is upset over her recent issues and the way that she acted with a man. As a result, she stops going to church on Sunday, leaving someone else to take care of the Sunday sermon. On top of that, she writes a letter and has Alice deliver it for her to the committee. It is her resignation, and they know exactly what they must do.

Alice comes to get the vicar and takes her in town. She was expecting a sendoff but she wasn’t expecting them to be standing there and to rally around her. It is really nice to see.
